Reading, writing and productivity
TelepaText, for macOS and iPhone/iPad, is a text reading, writing and productivity tool. Text-to-speech and speech commands provide flexible ways to listen to and control the app. The right window displays the Speech Reference for Speech Commands (an In-App Purchase) which let you control TelepaText with your voice. A custom background image is used in the editing and directory views.
Customizable display styles:
Customize the TelepaText interface on both macOS and iOS, utilizing color schemes and built-in or custom background image textures. Customize window transparency on macOS.
Customize display styles, text-to-speech and more in Settings
Control speech speed, pitch, and delay after sentences and line breaks. Also control text display, data detection, keyboard accessory, speech feedback, scroll while speaking, scroll speed, window arranging, and more. Most options are available in iPad, iPhone and macOS.
Built-in background textures, text-to-speech voices
Customize the display style with built-in or custom background images, colors and transparency. The same set of display styles and built-in background textures are available on both macOS and iPad/iPhone. The Voice Settings view is for selecting a voice for text-to-speech. TelepaText can automatically select an appropriate voice for sentences in different languages.

Multi-language text-to-speech
Text-to-speech supports automatic selection of appropriate voices for multi-language text on a sentence or line-by-line basis, a great for language students. This display style uses the translucent blur Visual Effects option, blending into your desktop environment.
Quick math calculations in text documents, and widget support:
Select a math expression or a list of items with values and calculate the total amount. Also, desktop widget support for quick access to Recent documents. The windows are using the optional translucent blur visual effect.
Voice Settings
Configure the set of voices to use for text-to-speech and multi-language text-to-speech. This display style uses a custom background image for the text document on the left. The Windows menu provides many actions for window arranging, with useful keyboard shortcuts.
Artful materials
The customizability of the interface allows one to create one's own TelepaText style to fit with one's personal aesthetic. Configure the Directory Panel to display iCloud, Local or Recent documents, change the sort order, and more, using the contextual menu (Control-click).
Text-to-speech controls and Actions toolbar
Use the popup controls to pause and resume the text-to-speech, or use keyboard shortcuts. The toolbar at the top of document windows provides quick access to common actions, and is customizable. Actions include Speak, Smooth Scroll, Wikipedia search, Web Search, Open URL, Map Search, E-mail, Twitter/X, Display Style, and Print. The window transparency option is like working on glass in front of your desktop images.
