Rainwater™ CD-ROM released by Imaja

Albany, California--04 Dec 1998: Imaja, of Albany, California, announces the release of Rainwater (TM), an art and music CD-ROM for MacOS computers. Rainwater is available now for $39.95 from Imaja.

Rainwater is a new work by Greg Jalbert with hundreds of images in countless combinations dissolving together with a electronic music soundtrack.

Jalbert, author of Bliss Paint, artist and musician, presents this collection of his latest work, including computer-generated images, conventional paintings in acrylic, watercolor, gouache and ink, and photographs of nature. The electronic music soundtrack is inspired ambient music, making this a special ever-changing journey. Each session with Rainwater is a completely new series of images, randomly selected from hundreds included on the CD-ROM. Using custom software to control the dissolves, new images are created in the process.

System Requirements: Power Macintosh/Mac OS computer. Mac OS 9, Mac OS 8 or System 7. 20MB RAM, CD-ROM drive, color monitor. The software creates extremely subtle dissolves in true color. A monitor setting of Millions or Thousands of Colors is recommended.

Note: PICT files or EPS files are available from Imaja for use in reviews, product announcements, and other publications. Contact Imaja for details and permission.
