Plant Gazer

Plant Gazer is a digital painting, a version of several drawings and watercolors I have done recently. I have been developing this series to recreate a link between people and plants I feel many have lost. Our corporate induced obsession with technology has led us on a road to ugliness. There is a death of the imagination in rationality. This year is also the first time I have done any serious gardening in my adult life -- a new leaf is turned. One's belief in magic is the freedom of artistic expression. Life without freedom is slavery.
