Tropical Visions is another step in a series of abstract paintings that are small views of a larger system of species of shapes. There is no central focus in the paintings. The eyes and mind can wander around and explore the variety of organic forms. The forms are inspired by the diverse forms of plants and animals. Spending time in nature and quietly observing the macrocosm and microcosm systems provides a deeper understanding of their essential integration.
