Urban Forestry Workdays
Work days for 1999-2000 are currently scheduled for the last Saturday of most months:
- Oct 30, 1999
- Nov 20, 1999
- Jan 29, 2000
- Feb 26, 2000
- Mar 25, 2000
- Apr 29, 2000
- May 20, 2000
Workdays begin at 9 am, allowing for a break at 11 and ending by 1 pm.
- Learn: tree care, indigenous plants, fire debris removal.
- Bring: gloves, clippers.
- Wear: socks, sturdy shoes, long pants, long sleeve shirts, poison oak protection.

Newcomers welcome. Under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Great mother-daughter, father-son, friend-friend activity. Adopt your tree or park segment to nurture.
